![]() Reply from Swain Destinations Dec 14, 2017ĭear Cindy, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback on your client's recent trip to India. I have to say that I thought a trip to the Arctic would be one and done, but now I want to go again in a few years when our children are old enough to do some of the more active experiences like ice-track racing, and helicoptering over the North Pole! We are already planning our next Swain Destinations trip, and cannot wait to see what they offer elsewhere, but I highly highly recommend their Finland experiences. We wrapped up our trip in Helsinki and got to experience the Christmas Markets and even Finland Day, which was beautiful and touching. I cannot speak highly enough of just how moved we were as a family to have these experiences together. Every activity that was arranged was so wonderful - from the activities themselves being unique and in the beautiful Arctic setting, to the individuals who led the activities being legitimate Sami reindeer herders, champion husky mushers, and so on. We gave Swain Destinations our preferences and dietary requirements prior to traveling and everything was prepared exactly to our needs, and was still authentic, locally sourced and delicious. The food from our private chef at our chalet was AMAZING. Our guide, Miikka, was so caring and flexible, always making suggestions based on the days' weather and working so hard to ensure we would see the Northern Lights, despite December being a difficult month to get to see them. Everything from the moment we landed in Rovaniemi to the day we returned home was so special. When I say it was the best trip our family has ever gone on, I am not exaggerating. It was just when Omicron was spiking in Europe and we were nervous at first but the Swain team walked us through all the protocols and because we felt like we were going to be in a very remote area (Finnish Lapland, in the Arctic Circle) we went on the trip anyway. My family of four traveled with Swain Destinations to Finland in December 2021. This is short-sighted and makes customers mad, when their needs change and they can't recover that 5000 over MSRP they paid.ĬonsumerAffairs is not a government agency. Many dealers know this, and mark them up 5000 over MSRP. I like everything about it except the price.around 46,000. My son suggests Toyota "have a plug-in" to the Sienna so he can enjoy the tax rebate. ![]() The Pacifica, while also a good van, "gives up" the stow-and-go seating for the plug-in hybrid. There is no competitor that has room for 7 or 8 passengers AND gets 36 miles per gallon. ![]() He loves the "living room size" leg room, as he is not cramped up in the back of the car. My grandson, Teddy, saw the van, fell in love and has talked about it almost constantly. ![]() My wife can take a nap and not have the sun in her eyes. I love the pull-down shades in the second row. You see, when the oil changes are included, people will get them as they don't have to pay for them, and, great maintenance will mean you get better resale value for the car, when the time comes. I like the 2-year free maintenance, but it should be extended to 3 years, or more. It looks like it's "not" a minivan, but has the room of a van. The van is smooth, quiet, and comfortable. ![]()
